A New “www.eeanm.org”

Old and new websitesAlong with the EE Certification Program, we are launching a new website for this month. Explore and let us know what you think!

The new site lets us feature stories and images of the great enviromental education happenings across New Mexico. We’ve got online forms (like the EE Certification application) and event registration (like the upcoming PLT workshops). We’re looking forward to adding an online membership directory soon.

Built in WordPress, the site gives us the flexibility to update and expand the website as EEANM grows and changes. Amy Landers, former EEANM board member and Treasurer and co-founder of Dragonfly Interpretive, built the website and has done an outstanding job of updating our look and functionality with the new website.

During the website planning and migration, we had special help from a few folks. Thank you to Harlow Pinson (Indepth Learning), who donated hosting for many years. We appreciate the insight of Deb Thrall (Albert I. Pierce Foundation) and Ellen Loehman (NM Science Teachers Association) in choosing a content management system and sharing some resources. And we appreciate the awesome support from the help desk guys at our new local host, Southwest Cyberport (SWCP), during the migration.

Leave a comment below to tell us what you think of the site and what you’d like to see in the future at www.eeanm.org.
